Grades Taught:

Upon discovering that I wanted to become an educator, I enrolled in the Nursery Education Program at the State University at Farmingdale. After completing this program and graduating with an Associates Degree I continued my studies at Molloy College, where I was granted a Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts and Elementary Education. Immediately following graduation, I was fortunate to receive a teaching position in a fourth grade class at St. Boniface School, in Elmont. I remained there for six years, teaching both the fourth and fifth grades. During this time I attended C.W.Post University where I received a Masters Degree in Special Education. I later joined the St. Thomas the Apostle School faculty working in the Nursery/Preschool Program at first, then moving on to teach Kindergarten for three years. Now teaching First Grade has become my passion. I look forward to each school year and the challenges that it brings. Being involved with the education of children in a faith filled environment has been a gift to me.
