School is open Monday through Friday- 5 full days.
We will be working both remotely and in the building theis week.
Remote students log on at 8am.
Recess/ Lunch is from 11:35- 12:40
Our day ends at 2:30
*Our lunch program will be available each day for lunch items, beverages and snacks.

Uniform update~
Our classroom is cool due to the vent fans that were put in for circulation. All students are invited to wear the Gym uniform daily. If you choose the STA winter uniform instead, please have your child bring a sweater or sweatshirt. Let's keep everyone healthy!
This week we will be working on Lesson 13 in our Journeys Reading series.
Our selections include Schools Around the World and An American School. Both of these selections are informational texts.
Our comprehension skill will focus on identifying the main idea and details. We will look at text and graphic features, such as pictures/photographs and use these tools to help us understand what the author is trying to say.

In Math we will work through Chapter 4. This double digit addition/subtraction may be a challenge. We will review each class lesson and homework assignment.
It is very important for the children to be able to recognize sums easily so please, practice facts at home.
Religion-
The children are learning about the sacraments. If your child received this sacrament please, share your child's Baptismal experience with
him/her. Share photographs, talk about what church this took place in and who you selected to be Godparents.
We will be introducing the Act of Contrition Prayer and begin preparing for Reconciliation. We will be working under the guidance of Mrs. Pellegrino (Director of Religious Education).

Reading for pleasure is a great way to increase knowledge, build vocabulary and comprehension skills.
Our school day begins at 8:00am. Dismissal is 2:45pm. Children are asked to bring a book to read in the morning while we wait to begin our day.
Everyone needs a snack/ water bottle and a home lunch.
Please check your child's backpack for his/her home folder/homework planner/ Math manipulative bag and workbooks used for homework.
After School Program children - Please bring a snack.
